As you enter Meribia, Jean points out that Lunn, the Master of Blue Dragon Karate, lives in the Dojo here.
Before heading there, first walk over to the Tavern and speak with the Ministrel at the bar until he gives you Jess' Bromide.
Once you have that, head over to Ramus' Shop and talk to Ramus' Grandpa -5- times. The fourth time he coughs up Lemina's Bromide 3.
Talking to him again gets him to mention that Ramus has more lying around somewhere.
Once he says that, walk over the Northwest corner of the store and search the second barrel from the Left to find Lemina's Bromide 2. It's your lucky day...for now.
After this, explore the town and upgrade your equipment. Exploring the town before entering the Dojo, you should find a Life Jewel...
...and an Herb.
When you are ready, walk into the Dojo.
Upon entering the Dojo, you'll come in during the middle of a training session in which Lunn wipes the floor with 10 of his students.
After he introduces himself, Jean asks him for help.
After you get on the 2nd Floor, enter his chamber and speak with him.
Jean has another flashback and explains to Lunn about the Shadow Dragon Cult. He then asks you to look for a link between the recent band of thieves at Taben's Peak and the Shadow Dragon Cult.
You automatically accept. However, explore the Dojo before leaving to find an Earth Crest on Floor 2...
...and a Dagger on Floor 1.
When you're ready and prepared, leave Meribia and walk Northeast to Taben's Peak.
