Meribian Sewers
When you get back to Meribia, walk into Ramus' Shop. You could go to the Dojo and try to report to Lunn, but he's apparently left for Pentagulia. Once inside Ramus' shop, you'll find that Ramus' Grandpa made a rather kewl discovery while searching for a wine cellar (lmao). Enter this new area which leads to the Meribian Sewers.
The Meribian Sewers are filled
with a series of switches that release rope bridges. If you get confused,
go have a look at the Map.
From the entrance, walk West until you come
to a switch in the wall. Press it to release the bridge on the North path.
Take the North path and cross the bridge. Immediately after crossing it,
walk East until you come to a doorway. Enter it and grab the chest for
a Steel Shield and press the switch there. Now walk back to the bridge
and continue North. You will shortly cross another bridge.
After crossing this bridge, hang a right
and walk WAY east. You'll eventually come to a square platform. You'll
find 2 paths on the south end. Take the east path first. Walk to the door
and enter to grab a chest for a Dew Ring. Now walk back to the platform
and head South. You'll now be on another platform again, with 2 paths
at the South end. Opt to go East first. This will end up taking you Northeast
to another switch. Press it and walk back to the 2nd platform and take
the Southwest path. You'll immediately come to a split. Go North to find
a chest holding a Quake Staff and then go back and take the south path.
When you reach the end of the hall, you'll have the choice of going Right
or Left. Go Left first to find another switch. Toss it and walk East until
you reach the bridge.
Once you cross the bridge, head South and
then walk all the way East to find another Bridge. Cross it to find a
Silver Light. Now walk back to where the path turns South. Follow that
but stay to the Right to find another chest, holding a Steel Helm. Walk
back and go Left. At both path splits, go North. You'll find another switch.
Press it, and then head due South and around to the West and you'll find
yourself on another square platform. Take the West path here to find a
Healing Nut. Then, go back and take the North path. Walk due West until
you come to another bridge going South. Take that route to find the Silk
Dress.
Take the Silk Dress and then walk back across
the bridge and turn Left. You'll shortly find the last switch, 2 chests
and a door. Flip the switch, Open both chests for 2 Star Lights and then
pass up the door for now. Continue walking West and follow it North across
the bridge. Turn Right to get another Star Light and then walk back to
the bridge.
At this point, you can turn North which
will bring you back to where you entered and you can use the Goddess Statue
to heal up, or if you're feeling ok and healthy you can turn South and
walk back to the doorway. Do whichever you decide and then enter the doorway
by the now 2 empty chests, AFTER saving your game.
When you pass through the doorway, you'll find the Masked Man and 4 goons about to load the children onto a small boat. He feels your unworthy to fight him and he sics his 4 Assassins upon you.

The Assassins aren't very hard. They only attack with punches. Here's what to do: Hiro should use Poe Sword every round. Ronfar should keep everyone healthy. Jean should use Butterfly Dance. Lemina should cast Freeze Claw every round.
You should win with little trouble.
Once you best his Assassins,
the Masked Man responds by telling Jean he's gonna rip her heart out.
However, Jean bitch kicks so hard that his mask falls off. The coward
retreats to the boat and tells you to come face him in the Tournament
of Death in Horam.
You end up talking to the rescued Dragon
Kids, who run back to Taben's Peak. Follow them and you'll emerge in Lunn's
Dojo. Hmm...coincedence? *shrugs* Anyway, head back to Taben's Peak to
get Lucia.
