When you first meet Amarant, he seems to be a stereotypical mercenary, willing to fight for anyone who pays his bar bill, and relies heavily on his fists. But Amarant knows that brute strength is not everything. He is sometimes a deep thinker, he cherishes his freedom and is somehow drawn to the wilds. The twenty six year old has trouble understanding Zidanes reasons for letting him live after losing to Zidane in a fight.
