Classes

There are three possible classes for your Hero to be, and although all of them have the same general goals, there are often different solutions to each puzzle depending on what abilities your class has.  This list provides the starting statistics for each class, but remember that you have 50 points to add to your abilities (learning a new ability costs an additional 10 points).

Fighter

The grunt of the game.  For a fighter, there is no obstacle that can't be passed by sheer muscle and/or sword.  HERO SMASH!  Recommended for beginners, or those who just like using brute strength to solve puzzles..

Magic-User
With very little physical ability, the Magic-User relies on intelligence and spells to get past obstacles.  They tend to shy away from close combat, preferring to attack from a distance or avoid fighting altogether.  Since that's not always possible, they start with the Zap spell, and are thus the only class that can learn all the spells in the game.

Thief
The thief works from the shadows, using stealth to get around obstacles.  If you want to make a lot of money early on, this is the way to go.  Who says Heroes can't be kleptomaniacs?
