Items

The best Hero needs the best equipment, and the knowledge of how to use it and where to get it.  The following lists will tell you what sorts of things you might find in your backpack throughout your quest.  "Value" means the price you pay when buying them (in silver), unless otherwise noted as the money or objects you receive when selling them.  Weights are taken from the VGA version (and rounded to 0.1 pounds, as the game does).  Items in the EGA version have weight, but it's not possible (as far as I know) to see the exact number.

In the EGA version, your Current and Maximum carry weights are listed underneath your money (the # symbol means pounds).  In the VGA version, click on the bag in the Inventory window to see these values.
