Path of Light: The Resistance.

You decided you wanted to be the good guy and save the world. You know that what the Empire is doing is wrong and you need to stop them. With the help of Kalzas this shall be easy.

This path branches alot. I'm going to do the scenarios in chronological order. Never thought being the good guy could be so hard.

Note: You can only have Aaron if you kill Bosel and only if you don't want to use Lana.

Suggested Classes:
Elwin-Hero
Hain-Wizard
Scott-Royal Gaurd
Riana-Agent
Sherry-Princess
Keith-Dragon Master
Lester-Serpent Master
Lana-Agent
Others:
Aaron-High Master

Scenario # Scenario Conditions Hints

Scenario #8

Characters:
Elwin-Trooper/ Dragoon (if you got him that far)
Hain-Elfs
Riana-Crusaders
Lester-Elfs
Keith-Pixies
Sherry-Pixies
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Kramer within 18 turns.
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
  • Time runs out.
So your on the way to find Langrisser, when you realize you have to cross a bridge. The enemy knows this but this is the fastest way.

HOLY JEBUS CHRIST THIS SCENARIO IS HARD!

I mean that too. Every enemy on this level is a flying unit and there are alot of them too. My archers couldnt even handle them. When they get the order they will bowl right through your guys. If you must kill only the commanders, but I killed them all. I made them BURN for making this hard. Have Elwin in the lead followed by Lester and Hain in the middle with Elfs and Keith and Sherry with pixies on the side. Riana shall travel in the back as a healer of course. However though, her crusaders can handle these guys too. If your troops start to get low back Hain and Riana off. All I can really tell you is the best of luck.

If you can get Elwin to coordinates (33,17) you will get the last of the secret scenarios, and its the same in Imperial.

Secret
Scenario #2

Characters:
Elwin-Soldiers
Hain-Elfs
Riana-Crusaders
Lester-Mermen
Keith-Pixies
Sherry-Pixies
Rouga-Any
Winning Condition
  • Defeat general at top
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
YAY ANOTHER SEKRET SCENAIRYO!

Meh.

I don't know why Rouga is in this scenario with you if this is the light path. Just give him any and leave him be.

I really don't know what this scenario is about. A lot of the guys you attack ask you questions and leave. It confuses me. Just, kill. I dont care. Can't be too much of a help on this one. Even at this point this place is easy.

Scenario #9

Characters:
Elwin-Troopers
Hain-Ballistae
Sherry-Pixies
Keith-Pixies
Riana-Crusaders
Lester-Nixies
Winning Condition
  • Defeat of Imelda.
Losing Conditon
  • Loss of Elwin
  • All of the villagers are killed.

So you've made it past the bridge. Thank God. Time for a well deserved break in the nearest town. WELL, it just so happens that its being attacked. The defender of the civilians, Aaron, is doing what he can to protect them. Imelda, Leader of the Ice Dragon Navy, is attacking the town. You know what to do.

If you want to make this easier on Keith and Sherry, put Hain with his Ballistaes under the bridge and have them go up. Put Lester near the bridge on the bottom and have Keith on the right side of Hain. On the left side will be Sherry. Riana should be put all the way to the left. Now if you want to really help Sherry out, wait until Riana, Lester, and Hain have gotten close enough to help her out. She will need it.Have Lester take out the Captain and the Lizardmen on the left and drag the ones on the right onto land so Keith can kill them. Keith should be able to handle himself. If you have Dragoons (which you should) just keep your guy there for a couple turns and give the exp. to the others. If you find out your in trouble, send him to help. About a turn after you attack Imelda, a horseman will stop in and say "Hey." Just use Lester to take them out, sea or no sea.

Overall this battle is not hard. I suggest making Aaron take the High Master path.(You DO want only ONE Hero, dont you?)

Scenario #10

Characters:
Elwin-Dragoons
Hain-
Ballistae
Sherry-Angels
Keith-Angels
Aaron-Phalanx
Lester-Nixies
Riana-Crusaders
Winning Condition
  • Defeat of Vargas
Losing Condtion
  • Loss of Elwin
On the road you seem to hit a roadblock. Unfortunately, it isn't the cops checking for a fugitive or illegal aliens. Its Vargas and his Blazing Dragon Army. He isn't there to meet you right now because he is checking on his wife and newborn baby. Almost makes me not want to kill him...

When you start this battle, you can realize that this will be tough. That is no joke either. What i suggest is keeping everybody back until the guy gives the order to attack. Then take out the fliers and knights. Whatever you do, do not move any allied unit above the line that the commander knight on the very left is. That will have Vargas come in and give the order to all attack Elwin. Your guy can handle any of them so don't worry. Do worry because the ballistaes, in range, will attack your commanders, which Sherry and Keith are vulnerable to. Lester is almost useless in this battle but after the knights are gone, have him, not his troops, a pick off troops. The Angels and Crusaders can pick off the ballistae. The real worry for your fliers are the elves.

Vargas will come and with a vengence. He wont let up. This is the end for one of you. To make the story go on, it will be him.

One last note: Best of luck.

After the battle Leon and Laird will show up and tell Vargas how stupid he is for getting killed. Now Leon has to deliver the bad news to Vargas' wife.

Scenario #11

Characters:
Elwin-Dragoons
Hain-Ballistae
Riana-Crusaders
Sherry-Angels
Keith-Angels
Aaron-Phalanx
Lester-Nixies
Winning Conditon
  • Obtain the Langrisser
  • Defeat of all enemies
Losing Condition
  • Loss of Elwin
  • Leon gets to the Langrisser first.
So you made it to the Unho...*ahem*...Holy shrine. (Side note: This shrine is Baltia castle from Warsong/ Langrisser First) Your job is to obtain Langrisser before Leon does. Fortunately he is late and telling Vargas' wife about his death. Your head start.

This battle is a helluva lot easier than you are led to believe. Elwin can get to Langrisser long before anybody. All i can really tell you is to give each character their specialty units (fliers for fliers, sea for sea). Of course give Aaron phalanxes.

Have Lester handle the sea creatures, and after that, he's useless for the rest of this level. Aaron and Riana should go for the balistae and enemy phalanxes and pikes. Keith and Sherry...well...they go for the fliers. Hain should go with Elwin to back him up against Laird's and Leon's troops. If you do this fast, try and have Keith and Sherry take a few out. Then when they close to Langrisser, use them as back up. Again i make it my life's mission to kill all the enemies. So I did. I used Elwin and his troops as a blockade and had Hain stay behind. That how I planned this level...its also much easier too.

Jessica will come later and talk about Langrisser and about who can use...blah blah blah... I'll assume you already looked at the characters section anyway to figure out who.Meh.

If you end up finding yourself pushed, just grab Langrisser. But i seriously mean that you should make it a life mission to get all the exp you can.

Once you get Langrisser, only a few can use it. Check the characters section to find out who.

Scenario #12

Characters:
Elwin-Dragoon
Hain-Any (i didnt use them)
Riana-Crusaders
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angels
Sherry-Angels
Scott-Dragoon
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Death of Leon
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
You have finally made it to them Imperial castle of the...well, Empire. Just one last roadblock in your way. Leon and the Blue Dragon Knights. Leon did not like to deliver the news to Vargas' wife, and he wants to avenge Vargas. Now hes noble.

This is a fairly easy battle. Not too easy though. The only major people to worry about are Lana and Leon. Lana will come later but she comes at the worst time. Leon and Laird started their run and your guys are probly weakened down by them. Send Keith and Sherry to take the two guys on the side out. Not a hard task. Try to save Lana for Scott when he comes. He needs the experience.

Once you kill Lana, (or Leon if you were pushed...remember-try to kill them all.) They find out that Lana is Riana's twin sister. Riana is the gaurdian of Langrisser and Lana is the gaurdian of Alhazard.

Just try to stay alive. Use Hain with fireball and Riana with Heal 2 and you should be fine. Remember use your guys Dragoons against Leon's. Its about the only way you can take them out.

Scenario #13

Characters:
Elwin-Dragoon
Hain-Ballistae
Riana-Crusaders
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Bernhardt or Bosel.
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
The Blue Dragon Knights have been defeated. That was probly no easy task. Your next task is to throw down the Empire. Guess what? This isn't easy either. Bernhardt will do anything to stop you and with Bosel at your side, this just may happen. And to make matters worse, Eggbert, leader of the Black Dragon Dark Priests, is assisting. They want to make you die here, but you wont let him.

This battle is by far the hardest I have played. Even more aggravating than the Bridge scenario. Balistae every where you turn. Meteors falling from every mage. This isnt easy and you may lose a couple guys on the way. Put Aaron in the back and keep him there. Two knights will come with troopers...against phalanx...so they're easy pickin's.

The best thing i can say is just let them pound you with meteors until they run outta magic and then send your fliers in. The guy in the middle with the ballistae can be difficult to get past. Send your guy with his troops to take them out. After that theres only Bernhardt, Bosel, and Eggbert left. If you still have Riana and Hain, try to let them kill Eggbert. If you do this, i will exaggerate this, HAVE KEITH OR SHERRY KILL THE BALLISTAE FIRST!. I didnt heed that warning and got them both killed.

Note: Lester is a second candidate for Eggbert.

Scott and your other flier will have to work on Bosel while your guy, with either Keith or Sherry (only after Eggbert perished.) Work on Bernhardt. Make sure that both Bosel and Bernhardt are left.

Now you have a choice:

If you killed Bernhardt: Your decision was to cut through the Empire's forces. Now Bosel is left and you have to kill him and his monsters. You will then be transported to Scenario #14(#25)

If you killed Bosel: your job now is to defeat what left of the Empire. You will now be transported to Scenario #14.

Scenario #14
Bernhardt
(I'll put the name under the the scenario of the guy you didn't kill.)

Characters:
Elwin-Phalanx Hain-Ballistae
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Imelda in 23 turns.
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
As soon as you start this scenario, your presented with Riana being kidnapped by Eggbert. Great. Wll now you need a boat. And guess who's gaurding it. If your said the Empire, you're right. It's being gaurded by Imelda of the Ice Dragon Navy

This battle starts off pretty easy. First off, in the first couple turns, a Serpent Knight will come and back them up. No one will move until you get to a certain point. At that certain point, Laird and another show up. Laird is pissed that you killed Leon. He will get revenge.

The ballistae are very annoying and will make mincemeat outta knights and soldiers after they got meteor'ed. Thats what you should watch out for. Meteor. You experienced it last level. You hate. I hate it. But ya gotta live with it. Dont rush yourself just because you have 23 turns. This isn't hard. Have Lester take out the Serpent Knight and have Keith and Sherry take out the fliers. Keep Elwin back to take out Laird and keep Aaron back to kill the other guy. That leaves you with Hain and Scott. Trust me, wait for either Aaron or Lester to back them up and do not leave Hain in any vulnerable spots around ballistae. Remember to give Aaron an amulet and give him four troops.

If you do everything right, this wont be hard. Just remeber to keep your guys healed and if that wont work back them off.

This is Imelda's last stand. So make it a horrible death.

Scenario #15
Bernhardt

Characters:
Elwin-Dragoons
Hain-Ballistae
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat everything in 18 turns.
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
You've made it across the sea and have hit land. Of course, the enemy is waiting for you. Lana has stopped in to say hi, and to kill you of course. Unfrotunately she is called away to break the seal of Alhazard. But a Vampire Lord takes over. You have to hurry to stop Lana.

This battle is probly going to press you. As soon as your guys get to dry land take out the monsters you can but try to go for the leaders. Two krakens will appear on the left side of the boat, and Irem Gaurd show up. IF you left Lester, Sherry, Keith. and Hain on the boat this can be easy. Hain stayed on the boat to counter the fliers who come around the bottom. Lester takes a Kraken and split the other one with Sherry and Keith. Aaron can take the Irem Gaurd, if you want. Elwin and Scott should have made it to land by now. If so, start taking out leaders. If anyone gets a clear shot at Scott, they will kill him.

Scenario #16
Bernhardt

Characters:
Elwin-Grenadiers
Hain-High Elfs
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat everything
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
You hurried onto the shirne where Alhazard is kept and you want to stop Eggbert and the Black Dragon Dark Priests. He has both Lana and Riana and now he can break the seal. It's too late. They have Alhazard.

This battle can get very annoying. The balistae are the most dangerous of them all. They target your leaders. So be careful. Jessica is an NPC in this level but if you actually get to kill those balistae, shes going to get shot down by them. Don't worry, you dont lose. Eggbert will leave his post with Alhazard, leaving you with cleanup duty. You know what to do.

The best thing to say is to have Aaron as your healer. Have Scott take out on of the guys with Grenadiers, and Sherry the other. Save the very last guy for Keith. No reason, its just easier. Lester and Scott should take out the guys in the middle. Sherry takes the guy on the right, Elwin takes the guy on the left. Of course, Keith gets the middle.
You'll see why Aaron shouldnt kill anything.

After everybody is dead, Riana and Lana will snap outta the trance. They will talk about what the plan is. To stop the Empire. But first you need to upgrade Langrisser if you want to stand a chance against Alhazard. So your job is to find your way to the Holy temple to get the Holy Rod. Luckily, you wont defy this grave. Aaron will leave after this scenario. Unfortunately, You dont have a choice.

Scenario #17
Bernhardt

Characters:
Elwin-Phalanx
Hain-High Elfs
Lester-Phalanx
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Lana-Crusaders
Riana-Crusaders
Winning Condition
  • Defeat everything
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
  • Holy Rod makes it to the bottom.
You've made it to the Holy Shrine. Your ex-pal, Rouga, has gotten word that you need it and wants to take it before you do. Your job: Stop your ex-pal from leaveing with it. You need it to power up Langrisser. Stop them.

They will take it long before you so dont worry. Have your two guys with Phalanx on the upper right and left to take out the Horsemen. Lana should go in the middle of them. Scott is for the guy with the archers and grenadiers. The angels are for the balistae. But only after you take out the guy with grenadiers. Lana takes out the guys with phalanx and the guys who help find the Holy Rod. Also have Lana summon up her Dragon (do it for Riana, too), and Hain;s archers are for Rouga. Lesters pikes will be used against Leon when he comes later. Ya thought he was dead, huh? He knows about the Holy Rod too, and is going to stop you from taking it. Meh, hes weak now, just kill him. If you plan this right, you'll have minor casualties.

After you defeat them all, Riana and Lana break the seal on Langrisser, the seal that was holding its power back. Now you stand a chance against Alhazard.

Scenario #18 & 33
Bernhardt

Characters:
Elwin-Dragoons
Hain-High Elfs
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Lana-Crusaders
Riana-Crusaders
Or:
Aaron-
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Sonia
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
Now your on your way to throw down Empire. This time, whats left of Bosel's forces are going to stop you. Looks like you didnt kill him after all. Sonia is going to take you down now. Est and Ost are backing her up. Great.

This is a pretty easy scenario. It looks tough but its not. Put Lester all the way at the top and move him on the water. He should be the only one who goes on the river. He gets to take out the Irem Gaurds. Sherry and Scott should take out the Dragons and Bonedinos. Lana and Riana= Est and Ost. Start off by Summoning Frieya. It makes it a little easier. I didnt use Elwin in this scenario. I wanted my other guys to get experience. Have Keith take out one of the fliers and Hain the other. One of the monsters who has the demon archers, are somehow surprisingly strong, just take them out as fast as you can.

A Vampire Lord appears and tells Sonia that Bosel has no use for her anymore and is going to kill her. Sonia gets to damage everybody, so cool. If she goes after Lester, double cool, because the Vamp Lord will stay there. Use Scott or Sherry to kill him. If you must use Lana. Riana and Lana (or Keith) can take out the guys with archers. I used Hain to kill Sonia, because im like that.

After that battle Sonia retreats. Now you have an option:
Go to Valezzia, the capital of Raygaurd, and take out Bernhardt. (Scenario 19) (If you beat Bosel the first time you do not have the choice to go after Sonia.)
Or:
Go after Sonia.
You'll end up getting them both in the long run so it doesnt matter. But they are different scenarios. Gosh durnit.

Scenario #19 & 23 & 34
Bernhardt

Characters:
Elwin-Phalanx
Hain-Hawks
Lester-Phalanx
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Riana-Angels
Lana-Angels
Winning Condition
  • Defeat everything
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
You and your group have made it to Valezzia, the heart of the Raygaurd Empire. Your intent: Take down the Master Of Monsters, Bernhardt. But of course, Leon is pissed you keep beating him. He wants to protect his king no matter what. So the entire Blue Dragon Knights are here to stop you. Great. Your old friend from the Black Dragon Dark Priests, Eggbert, stops in to say hi. He sends over Jessica and she leaves.

Depending on how you set it up, this may be hard. If you took everybody to a fifth class, most likely only two of them have Phalanx. Have them in the front. Hain in the bottom middle. Sherry and Keith at the bottom ends. Scott and Riana or Lana at the end of the top. The left over guy in the front next to Elwin. The only troops you have to worry about are Leon's, Laird's, and anyone else with dragoons. Riana and Lana should get backup (Frieya or dragon) and Scott should take out one of the mages. Have Keith take out some of the dragoons. Your guys going to end up doing most of the dirty work. Whatever you do, don't move Riana or Lana up. They'll get slautered. If all goes well, it should't be too much of a problem.

You step on in and await whats going to happen.

Scenario #20 & 24
Bernhardt

Characters:
Elwin-Phalanx
Hain-Ballistae
Lester-Phalanx
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Angels
Riana-Angels
Lana-Angels
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Bernhardt
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
The Emporer. The Master of Monsters. The Yeilder of Alhazard. No matter what you call him, it all goes down to one name: Bernhardt. A messenger will tell you that you have already advanced into the castle, and then dies. Bernhardt calls his monsters and Eggbert has whats left of his Black Dragon Dark Priests.

Take out the ballistae (shouldnt be too hard), then worry about the flier. The main problem is the Meteor's by Eggbert and the Vamp Lords. Put Lester on the bottom with phalanx. You'll see why shortly. Scott and Sherry take out the black knights (dont remember thier names.) Then have them head up. Same deal with Riana and Lana. Frieya. She'll come in handy. It doesn't matter what you give your guy. All are going to probly die except angels. Eggbert is a pushover, don't worry too much.

Somewhere during here, Leon shows up. He's beaten up, but refuses to give up. He just can't take a hint can he? This is where Lester comes in. Have Lester take him out. After hes dead, Lana, Leon, and Elwin talk. Elwin basically says that he didn't have to fight but Leon explains that he wanted to. It was like an obligation. Lana who had gotten to know Leon very well, was saddened by this. Guess what? Leave him and tackle Bernhardt. By the time you get to Eggbert, dump your troops, Leaders will suffice. Bernhardt will keep fireballing you. His troops are pushovers, but he is not. Have Elwin with the Langrisser, and they will be evenly matched.

If it isn't your last scenario, continue. After Bernhardt is defeated, Bernhardt will regain whats left of his conscience. He tells Leon to leave, and that the Empire has fallen. He dies. Alhazard is within your grasp. Unfortunately, it's withing Sonia's too. She takes it, and leaves. Now you gotta catch her.

If this is your last scenario, Congrats! The other half involves hunting down Bosel.

Scenario #21 & 22
Bernhardt

Characters:
Elwin-Grenadiers
Hain-High Elfs
Lester-Ballistae
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Angels
Riana-Angels
Lana-Angels
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Sonia
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
Well this may be your last scenario, it may not be. Sonia took the Alhazard and now she is the master of monsters. She calls all her monsters to her side. Theres only three major differences between you doing this first and doing this last. First, she has Alhazard and has a significantly larger attack. Secondly, instead of dragons, there are Living Armors. Just as annoying. And thirdly, well, I'll get to that.

First off, if this is your last scenario for light, just go for the leaders, it makes this easier. Basically just fight your heart out. If this isnt your last scenario for light, then kill everything. Take out the guy in the middle with the archers or Jessica will get slaughtered. Soldiers for the golems, angles for the fliers and undead, ballistae for the guy in the middle, summons to help out. If you have agents at level four or five this will be easier. They have teleport, which makes getting around easy.

Once you get to Sonia, kill her. If it isnt your last scenario, when you kill her, she will attempt to summon Chaos, but fail.

Then you head up to Valezzia.

If it is, well, this is the third difference. Now that she has Alhazard, she succeeds in summoning Chaos. If you ever played Warsong, or Langrisser First, he was that last boss. No different for this path. Eggbert will show up as an NPC, and tell you that he has a spell to get rid of him, but you need to weaken him down first. Choas is no pushover. Weaken him down with Lester, because his defense is high. Then use whoever has Langrisser, kill him. Eggbert teleports over and casts the spell. It takes Chaos and Eggbert with it.

Congrats! You finished one half of the Light path. The other half involves you chasing Bosel. I won't give away the ending, but the Playstation version of it is pretty cool.

Scenario #14 (25)
Bosel

Characters:
Elwin-Phalanx
Hain-Elfs/High Elfs
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoons
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Est, Ost, and Vampire Lord
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
We are greeted with Riana being kidnapped by Eggbert, Est, and Ost. Great. Est and Ost say that they should help slow down the progression of your troops. They head towards your guys.

So, your guys are set up. Thats great. Looks easy. Yep. It should be pretty easy. Until you touch that first column of water. Two scyllas, Est, and Ost show up. That means more magic on your guys. You shouldn't have too much trouble on this level. Best idea is to leave Aarons troops behind (they're too slow) and bowl through the enemies. If you got Hain to get High Elfs and Meteor, this level is easier. Have Keith and Sherry loop around the top and the bottom of the boat. Just watch out for ballistae. Lester takes the Scyllas and the rest drive on through.

The game doesn't tell you but you DO have a time limit. Don't worry, you don't lose or anything. You just go to a seperate scenario. You don't get the boat, and you have to save a town.

If you beat it in less than 15 turns, go to Scenario #15(26)

If not, go to Scenario #15(28)

Scenario #15(26)
Bosel

Characters:
Elwin-Grenadiers
Hain-High Elfs
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-High Elfs
Aaron-Grenadiers
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Imelda
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
So you've got your boat. Your heading towards Riana and Alhazard. But Imelda and the Ice Dragon Navy won't let you. She's caught up to you, and is attacking your ship. Luckily she doesn't come prepared.

Have your guy at the front, Lester below him to the right, Hain to the left of him, Scott below him, Sherry to the right of Scott, Keith below her, and Aaron next to him on the left.

Have Keith and Lester take out the fliers and sea guys, while Sherry and Aaron take out the guys with bandits. Scott and Hain take on the guy with Ballistae and save the healer and Imelda for your guy. If you leveled your guys up, this should be really easy. If not, you may lose a few.

Scenario #16(27)
Bosel

Characters:
Elwin-Dragoons
Hain-Ballistae
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angles
Sherry-Angles
Scott-Dragoon
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat everything in 16 turns.

Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
You've made it across the sea and have hit land. However you don't know that they need both Riana and Lana to break the seal of Alhazard. But Riana is safe at Kalzas, right? Wrong. Lana tells the group that they have Riana. Then the Vampire lord who takes over verifies this. But is Lana is here, you still have time. As soon as she goes, you have to hurry.

This battle is probly going to press you. As soon as your guys get to dry land take out the monsters you can but try to go for the leaders. I would consider giving your guy speedboots. Have Scott take out the flier. Bring Aaron, Keith, Elwin, and Hain to dry land. Sherry and Lester will stay on the boat. As soon as the Vampire Lord shows up, Lana will leave. There will be two krakkens that appear. Easy pickings for Lester and Sherry. If your still close to the beach when the Vampire Lord shows up kill the leaders. Aaron and Scott can handle the Minotaur at the top.

Just remember. 16 turns. This is one battle i would suggest not killing all you can.

Scenario #17(30)
Bosel

Characters:
Elwin-Grenadiers
Hain-High Elfs
Lester-Nixies
Keith-Angels
Sherry-Angels
Scott-Angels
Aaron-Nada/Any
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Bernhardt
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
The shrine where Alhazard is sealed. They have both keys. You have to hurry. You cannot let Bosel get Alhazard.

Well i suggest putting Hain in a position where he can Meteor the ballistae. Makes it easier. Just slowly make your way up. On Bosel's right side is Eggbert. As soon as Bosel gets Alhazard, Bernhardt shows up. Didn't we kill him already? Anyway he moves on up and kills Bosel. Eggbert pledges his alligence towards Bernhardt and tells the mages to attack the monsters. So that can help out. You shouldn't have too much trouble on this scenario. Just becarful against Bernhardt. Remember, he has Alhazard and is strong. But he should be a pushover.

You have a choice at the end of this scenario. You can have either one of two people, Lana or Aaron. The question Aaron asks you, the bottom choice, you get Aaron, the top choice you get Lana. It's your choice.

Scenario #18(31)(32)
Bosel

Characters:
Elwin-Phalanx
Hain-High Elfs
Lester-Phalanx/
Nixies
Keith-Angels
Sherry-Angels
Scott-Dragoon
Riana-Angels
Lana-High Elfs
or
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat all of Rouga's henchmen
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
  • Holy Rod makes it to the bottom.
You have made it to the Holy shrine. Yes! Now we can power up Langrisser. But wait a minute. Whos that? I think thats Rouga. Great. The Empire knows what we want and is trying to get to it before you.

Don't worry about getting the Holy Rod first. They will find it long before you can get there. Have guys with phalanx on the sides to counter the horsemen. Angels for the ballistae and horsemen for the soldiers. Archers for Rouga's troops, not like you need to worry. His command range is 2 so don't worry about them. They really don't tell you this but the scenario ends when you beat all of Rouga's henchmen. So technically you don't have to kill Rouga, but do it anyway. Lester should be backup. If you have Lana, give him phalanx. If you have Aaron, Nixies. Somewhere along the line, Leon will come and join Rouga from behind. Eww.
Thats where Elwin comes in. Have Elwin take out Leon. This is another not that really hard battle, so just make sure whoever has the Holy Rod does not make it to the bottom.

Afterwords, Lana and Riana will break the seal on Langrisser so it's true power can be released.

Once your done here go to Scenario 18.

Scenario #15(28)
Bosel

Characters:
Elwin-Phalanx
Hain-High Elfs
Lester- Nixies
Keith-Angels
Sherry-Angels
Scott-Dragoons
Aaron-Phalanx
Winning Condition
  • Defeat Imelda
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
  • Villagers die
You did'nt manage to catch the boat. So you head to a nearby village, when you notice that the villagers are being threatened by Imelda. Her job is to slow you down, and will obtain this at any cost.

This battle doesn't start easy, and remains that way. My major suggestion is kill Imelda almost as fast as you can. My other suggestion is to kill all you can, and you'll see why in the next scenario. The villager at the top will most get attacked pretty quickly, so send someone up there. A second idea is to give Scott angles, if he has them yet.

It's your choice on how to do this level. Its your choice to mess up and take this path.

Nonetheless, you need boats, so you take the fishing boats out and head towards Bosel.

Scenario #16(29)
Bosel

Characters:
Elwin-Ballistae
Hain-Ballistae
Lester- Nixies
Keith-Angels
Sherry-Angels
Scott-Angels
Aaron-Ballistae
Winning Condition
  • Defeat everything
Losing Condition
  • Death of Elwin.
Now your out at sea, heading towards Valezzia. Eggbert kindly tells Riana that Elwin and group have been "dealt" with and shall not be comin to save her.
Meanwhile, on your tiny boats, your attacked by Bosel's minions and they tell you about Riana. Your job: Stay alive.

Chances are, Lester and Keith will be doing the dirty work in the water. Keith can fly, making it easy for him and Lester can swim so have fun. At this point, "P" will go down very fast. Angels and Ballistae cost a helluva lot so have fun. The only people who should move off the boats are Lester and Keith. (Sherry too if she's still in her Dragon forms.) The battle ends when they die, so if you want to make this quick, kill all the Leaders. But you will probly need the "P", so kill what you can

After the battle, you head on over to dry land. And for some reason Transformers have integrated into this game because your little boats turn into one big one. Go to dry land.
