The role of the hot cat girl in this 5th installment of the series is held by Lin. And no, I don't really think she's hot. Lin's weapon is a gun, which can be very frustrating if not used properly. Most of her attacks are powerful at long range (except for "Shatter!", which is excellent against enemies at close range). Consequently, you WANT to equip her with armor that gives a lot of move, such as the Quick Chaps, Quick Garter or Wild Chaps. She also has nothing else better to do than hanging around with kids at least 5 years younger than her, but hey, that's her choice.
