Head south over your newly made bridge and continue south on the next screen. Save if you want, hit the random block and continue south into the airport. Talk to the first Bean you come across to find out Princess Peach's plane is late. Try to exit from the southwest and a Bean will ask you to come see Lady Lima. Go south over the bridge to the next screen and continue south on that one. When you get to the runway, Lady Lima will tell you that Piranha Plants have taken over the runway. Look at Luigi and tell me that isn't disturbing. He will eventually decide to just sit down and sip some coffee. When you're done chatting, it's time to beat up some plants

Before doing anything, dig the 4 spots on this screen (2 in the north grass, 2 in the south grass) and digging the 4 spots on the screen to the west, which are in the same spots as the 4 on the last screen. When you're back on the first screen and ready to continue, fill Mario with water from the northeast fountain. Go to a Piranha Plant and hammer the water out on each plant. Switch to Luigi and use his Thunderhand on the plant. This will send them away and also crack the giant egg on the screen to the west which you probably noticed when you went over there for the digspots. Go west a screen and kill the plant here. Save if you want and go west another screen. Four more digspots here (1 south, 3 north) as well as a rally block. Finish the last two plants and go back east. Save and then go back east and engage the big ugly plant

Take out the two plants right away. When they're done, use Bro attacks with Mario and Thunderhand with Luigi. You can probably grab 2-3 extra HP of damage using Luigi's number two bro attack, but Thunderhand is a more surefire way of getting full damage. The big plant has two attacks. It will shoot a giant energy ball at you which will float slowly down to you. Hit it with your hammer to send it right back. The other is a vine sweep. She sweeps once from Luigi to Mario and then back the other way. Easy fight

Go back east and talk to Lady Lima and Princess Peach will arrive. Everyone will explain to you what really happened with Princess Peach. After all the chatting, you regain control inside the castle. Head north two screens and Peach will tell you she wants to go to Little Fungitown. The toad says it's ok as long as you be VERY careful. After they run off, blend some coffee if you can. Next up is equipment shop. They have some new pants called #1 Trousers. They give you a MASSIVE Def boost and always allow you to attack first. I suggest these for both bros. I also suggest a Bros Badge for Mario. When you're ready to go, exit Beanbean from the east

Follow the dirt path north to a new screen. Use Thunderhand on the orb and go through the gate. Look for the digspot in the topright corner. It's kinda hard to dig because of the cloud dropping monsters. Get it and follow to the next screen. Follow the path and go south at the split. Look for a digspot on the left. Keep going south and then left. Head north into a cave

Save now. Be sure to save and drop down the steps to the right. Down here, you find the Hammerhead Bros who offer to make your Hammer stronger. Accept and when they're done, go south and right. Smash the rock and go over the bridge. Smash another rock and enter. Talk to the Thwomp and give him 200 coins to smash rocks for treasure. When he drops a set of three, each one has a treasure in it, all the same. So pretty much, you're paying 200 coins for whatever you get in the rock. You will ALWAYS get something no matter which rock you choose. Your objective here though is to find "Secret Scroll 1". This badboy teaches Mario a new Bro attack, making it well worth the effort. If for some reason you run out of money (which I think is impossible since if you don't get the scroll you get 300 coins and you're only paying 200 to play). When you have the scroll, Mario will read it and learn "Swing Bros" for battle. Make your way out of the cave and go all the way back to the gate you opened with Thunderhand

Work your way north and smash the rock with your new hammer and head through. After you meet up with Peach, you will depart for Fungitown, but thanks to the little toad, the Princess has been kidnapped by a vicious desert goomba. On this screen, if you avoid getting hit and using the Boost Ring, I've pulled upwards of 328 EXP a battle. Drop down the yellow pipe after taking out enemies and follow the path to Peach and some Goombas. Take out the Goombas and rescue Peach. Now the minigame ensues. Do not let Peach out of your site (the screen) for more than 2-3 seconds. If you do, she will be kidnapped and taken away. This includes you going ahead of her and her going ahead of you. So if I say "rush ahead of Peach" I mean go in front of her, but don't just rush off and leave her behind. What I usually do is just stay with her while she walks through to take out any Goombas and so I can see the maze and get an idea of what I need to do. I suggest this even with my guide so you can see ahead of time what I describe. I won't tell you to go walk through with Peach once, I'll just assume you've done so and start giving instructions on getting through the maze. The first screen isn't much so just follow her and move on

On the second screen, rush ahead of Peach and kill the 2 Goombas you find. Hit the ! box near the second Goomba before Peach reaches the gate. Go up and meet her and move to the next screen. Run ahead and take out the Goomba. Go further ahead and hammer the switch to drop a barrel. Move ahead and kill another Goomba. Let Peach reach the gate and turn back. Follow her back to the start and as soon as she turns to go back, move north and hop the steps. Be sure to keep her in sight. Smash the rock and quickly switch to send Luigi underground. Bring him up under the barrel and drop down and start heading right. While you're heading right, press L until the climb barrel icon comes up. Stop in front of the switch and hammer it. Once you see the gate going down, start pressing L to get the barrel icon up again. Get off and quickly switch to the hammer and break Luigi out. Peach should be ahead of you by now, but not far enough to get kidnapped. Just run after her and go to the next screen

On this screen, Peach will hop up and tell you you're almost there. Save if you want and go north. You come across Peach, who is being assaulted by a big tree. The little toads refuse to help so it's up to the Mario Bros!

Pushover. He has two attacks, one is where he rolls two rocks to the bros which can be smashed with hammer quite easily, and the other is when he opens his mouth and starts sucking in air. It will pull Goombas to him from behind Mario and Luigi. I think he pulls in 6. It will also heal him for 10 HP. After awhile, he'll split into 4 small trees. Attack the small ones until you find the one that takes damage. Once you find it, aim for him and he'll be gone soon. Use Bro attacks here, even on the small ones. It's the only thing that does some real damage

After the battle, Peach will be greeted and you'll be onto Fungitown!
