Walkthrough

This version is alot cooler than other versions of the castle I must say. Hop up the left side for an Ultra Mushroom and the right side for an Ultra Syrup. Save if you want and head north into the castle. Fawful will alert Bowletta to your arrival and Bowletta will send some familiar faces for Mario fans to deal with you. Continue along the only path through a new door. In here, you need to jump all the way east. It's easier said than done since some of the ledges are quite small and the big grey Bowser stones keep you from using Spinjump. If you fall into one of the deep pits, just walk south onto the grate and back east and it it over. Once you make it to the other side, enter the door

In this room, Iggy will do a little jig and make you dizzy. While you're like this, the controls are reversed. Up is down and down is up and whatnot. You must make your way to Iggy, but don't let the flames touch you. Once you reach Iggy, get him back!

This fight is horridly easy. With the stats I gave on the last section, I finished him in two Swing Bros and a Knockback Bros, plus two counters of his fireballs. He will spit a slow fireball at you and if you can counter with your hammer, it will hit him for 30-40 HP

When you're finished with Iggy, he will leave behind a warp. Step inside to be warped outside. Cross the bridge and enter the door. Follow the straight path loaded with enemies (Thunderhand works well against most of them) and enter the door on the end. Use the moving blocks in here to get to another door which you should obviously enter. If you want to save, hop up the right stairs for the album then head back down and go north. When Morton sees you, he starts pounding the ground to send shockwaves at you. Work your way east while avoiding the shockwaves and when you reach him, you fight him

Another easy one. Don't even know if this is supposed to be a boss. One Swing Bros, a Knockback Bros and 3 counters of a fireball and it was over. He shoots fireballs the same way Iggy did, but more of them

Step in the warp to end up outside. Hop onto the platform and follow the path east to a new screen. Hop up the steps and up the next set and go west to the next screen, but don't keep moving or you'll fall off. Spinjump across and enter the door. Highjump up 4 steps and if you want a rally block, jump the last one to the north and go west. If not, just spinjump across after the 4th step. Hop up more steps and spinjump across again and go through the door. Use the whirlwinds here to carry you all the way across to the east and a new screen. There is a moving whirlwind here. Make your way across. There is another whirlwind to the right, but the gap is HUGE, and I haven't been able to get across it yet. I know the prize for getting over there is a 1-Up Super, so when you've gotten it or you're tired of trying, go north into the door. Save if you want and go further north. Go north and save and then head over the bridge to meet Lemmy. He will split into 4 and you have to hit the right one with your hammer. When you do, the battle with start

This one only took me one Swing Bros and one Knockback Bros. He splits himself into 4 and you need to find the right one. Another speedy battle

Step in the warp and fill Mario with water from the fountain on the left. Spit out the fire and go west to a new screen. Hop up and enter the door. Follow the path and grab the Ultra Syrup and head to the next screen. Here we have another one of the things where you need to knock the little toys into the gaps in a current. Once you've done it, fill up with water and enter the door. Stand facing the left plant and have Luigi shock Mario and he'll dump the water on the plant, which will spit out a ! block. Hit it to open the door and go through. Just incase you're wondering, the other plant does spit a ! block, but it bring an enemy in to fight you, so unless you want to fight it, don't bother. Go north into the door and save if you want. Cross the bridge and you'll find Ludwig. He will shrink down and bounce himself off the walls. Jump over him and eventually he'll jump away. Try and go back south over the bridge and he'll attack you

Another very simple fight. 3 attacks and a counter and he was history. He will do a Tazmanian Devel type spin and circle around. Just catch him with your hammer to stop it

Like before, step into the warp he creates. Shrink Mario down and send him in to hit the switch. Grab the Ultra Syrup and the Super Mushroom and meet back with Luigi. Get onto the platform and onto the ledge and into the door. Follow to the next screen. If you want some coins, follow the path all the way west and north for a tag team block. Go back to the long east-west path and send Luigi under the red gate, but don't bring him up. Work your way to the back room and then go south one room on the left side. Come up and hit the switch. Use the spring to bounce Luigi over and go back to Mario. Shrink him down and head back and around the same way Luigi did, but going one extra room. Hammer the switch and meet back up with Luigi and head through the door you opened

In this room, go all the way north and then west until you see a switch. Hit it and send Mario through the hole you made. Hop up on the steps and walk along the tops of the rooms. You will find 3 Boos while working your way around. If they touch you, you will grow big and have to fight them. But, the next room you hit, you need to be small. One way is to just go through and fight them, drop back down and have Luigi shrink you again and walk back uninterrupted. Whatever is easier for you though. On the new screen, you must work your way through an old school style Bowser Castle course. When you come to the second set of blue jumps, you can clearly see the shadow of two boxes. To get them, you need to go under the blue to a red air raft that takes you over some lava. Avoid the blue blocks and make it to the other side. Hop up to the left and walk back acrross and you'll drop down under them. They only contain a Ultra Nut and Ultra Mushroom though, so it's your call. Continue right until you see a big Bowser float. Hit the axe to sink him in the lava and enter the pipe on the right. It'll put you at the start of the course. Simply go west and drop to Luigi then exit to the northwest. Get the random block and save. Enter the door

Jump Mario up the two ledges, but leave Luigi down. Move east until you're both under the blocks. Jump them both and you'll make a bridge. Keep going east without dropping down. There will be 3 more blocks for you to hit. Climb the ledges to the east to reach the next enemy, but he runs away and leaves a warp. Take the warp and go west. Follow the path and you'll be sneak attacked by Roy

In this battle, you have 8 rounds to defeat Roy or the bomb will go off and it's game over. Well, it took me one. One Bro attack each and 4 countered fireballs did him in. Oddly enough, I found his fireballs quite hard to counter for some reason. Anyway, he goes very quickly

Go send Luigi into the barrel and stand on it to hit the switch. It will launch you to the top. Drop down to the left to get an Ultra Mushroom and a Super Syrup by dropping right. Leave the screen, come back in and get in the barrel again. Shoot up and this time exit east and enter the door. Follow the path to the next screen. You'll be assaulted by a load of Boo's on this screen. Fight them off and get in the barrel. Move left to the switch, climb up and hit it and enter the door, but stay inside the barrel. Go to the left and right sides, climbing up the barrel and lighting the torches on each side to open the door, go through. Work your way right through the rolling spikes and north to a new screen. Hit the switch to reverse the direction of the bars. Work your way left, going out to the south. Go back in and work to the left path. Head north through the door. Get the Ultra Mushroom and Ultra Syrup. Save and head through the door. In this room, head south and send Luigi under the gate. Switch and move Mario next to Wendy at the left pipe. Switch back to Luigi and come from under the gate and stand by the right pipe. Make sure both Bros have their Hammer ready. Hit her with Mario, switch to Luigi and hit her when she comes up. The Bros will trap her and do battle

Another bomb fight. 2 attacks and she was gone. She didn't even get a shot in. If someone didn't finish her off so quickly and would like to send some form of strategy, please feel free

Take the warp and jump up to the ledge. Shock the orb and spinjump over to the platforms and over to the ledge. Defeat the enemy here and go through the door. Put Luigi in front and have Mario's hand icon ready. Hit the ! and you'll have 13 seconds to get to the top and hit the other ! block. Once you hit the first one, line yourself with the cracked wall and dash all the way north. You should have 3-4 seconds left to hit the ! block. When you do, go north. Shrink Mario and send him into the hole and north to a new screen. Have him hop the steps and walk to a gold block. Switch back to Luigi and take him nort and under Mario. Just like you did in Joke's End, bump Mario up until he gets to the ! block. Drop Mario back to the first gold block. Switch to Luigi, go back to the last screen, cross the bridge you made and meet up with Mario. Make your way east and enter the door. Follow the path to the next screen. Send Luigi under the gate and east. Someone will drop a barrel on Luigi. Play a pong type game with a fireball until the Koopa runs off. Switch to Mario and meet up with Luigi. Head north and find the Koopa and enter battle

Another bomb fight. 3 hits this time. He spins around real fast and circles you like one of the other ones. Horridly easy prep bosses. But this was the last one

Hop up to the right and east to a new screen. Up two sets of steps and west to a new screen. When you hit a split path, go west for an Ultra Nut and an Ultra Mushroom. Save your game and go back north. Follow the path until you hit a big round stone. Walk north to the tip and you'll be met by Fawful who will make an incredible entrance and then attack you

Fawful is inside a giant green dome. When inside, only use solo attacks. His attacks consist of him opening the dome and sending a jolt from above which can be hammered back at him. The other attack is when he sends some beams from each eye that spreads out and then back in. His third attack is when he spins his dome around really fast. This creates pink energy bubbles that spin around for awhile. They can be hit with the hammer. Any ones that aren't destroyed will come swinging at both bros. After he does this attack, his dome will overheat and he will be exposed. Let loose with Bro Attacks. Once he came out, it only took two Bros attacks to send him down

After the battle, Fawful gives a losing speech and then sneak attacks Mario. Prince Peasley comes to your aid, but he's shocked by Fawful too. Finally, the Bros get a hold of him and throw him off the castle. Peasley says thanks and runs off. Cross the bridge and go through the door. Continue north to grab the Ultra Syrup and Mushroom. Hop up and save, enter the door. Go north to find your ultimate enemy...Bowletta!

The battle starts off with blocks over the bros head. Hit each block 5 times quickly and Bowletta will shoot a HUGE firestream at you. Jump with both bros to dodge it. He will shoot alot of small fireballs at one bro that come in twos and are somewhat hard to dodge. Every 3rd ball will camp on the screen. Don't worry about them. It took 4 Bro attacks to "beat" Bowletta. After you strike him down, a bomb will come on the screen and knock you out and then Bowletta will swallow you. You wake up in another battle, with 1 HP

Use an Ultra Nut as soon as you can to heal yourself up. Cackletta shoots a HUGE energy ball at you which you need to hit with your hammer 3 times to dodge it. Aim for the arms and then the head. Once it's all gone, the heart will pop out and revive all the parts. Aim for the heart from here on out. There was one point in my fight where it seemed like he got to attack 5-6 times in a row. I don't know if this is normal or what. He does an annoying fire ring attack that will circle over and over and over again, sometimes switching directions. He can also bring up a cloud of Fawful that will send a line of shocks at the bros. His last three attacks are hand attacks. One is when they stretch out and spin around. This is pretty hard to avoid. Another is when he stretches them out at the same time and they flick you. It's really easy to counter with the hammer. The third is when he sends a little shock bubble. When you hit it with the hammer it will float to the other bro who needs to hit it with his hammer to send it back to the other one who needs to hit it with his hammer to destroy it. When his heart is up, HIT IT as much as you can. After awhile, it'll go down

Whew. Cackletta leaves Bowsers body and he returns to normal. Go south and Peasley will tell you the place is going to explode. Exit to the northeast and follow the path. When you hit a room with stairs, go down one of the first two sets and send Luigi under the barrel. Go back up the steps and drop down until you see a switch. Stand Mario on the barrel and hammer the switch. Break out and go down the steps and through the door. Follow the path to a new screen and south to find the dragon who will fly you out. Bowser though is another story. Poor fella got stuck in the castle, and meets you up close and personal. Watch the ending, and good job for you. You beat the game =P
