When you enter, you can tell something bad happened. Walk around and chat with the townfolk to find out what happened. You can also find an item shop which sells a few things. Pick some stuff up if you need anything. When you're done wandering around town, walk north from the item shop into the next area. Use the Save Album if you wish and head north to the castle. I love the guards reaction to Luigi =o. Poor guy. Once you're finally able to enter the castle, go north, left and then south to find a tag team coin box. Get your coins, go back north and talk to the Beanbean person laying down. Lady Lima will come out and introduce herself. She thinks there's something mighty suspicious about Mario and Luigi, so she dumps you down a trap door and tells you to fix the plumbing problems so she knows you're the real Mario Bros.

Start by hoping up onto the pipes and using your Hammer to plug the three holes in this area. When you're done, I suggest you fight all the enemies in here just to try and beef up a bit. When you fight Spiny's, remember, spikes and jumping don't mix! When you beat the enemies, head through into the second part of the sewers

Close off all the holes (closing the topmost hole will drop two more Spiny's into the room) and defeat all the enemies. When the room is clear, do a spinjump into the valve to open up more holes. Close them off and head into the next area. Clear the enemies and spinjump the valve to fight an extra enemy if you wish. Head right when you're done and spinjump into the valve. Hit the holes in this order: top left, bottom left, top right and bottom right. Use the platform to jump up and into the next area. Spinjump into the valve, collect the two Mushrooms and head back two rooms.

Plug the holes and go north. In this room, save at the save album and plug the single hole. Out comes...Lady Lima? Apparently, the Lady Lima you met before was none other than Cackletta, and repairing the plumbing was just a way to get to the Beanstar!!! After Lima demands you recover the Beanstar, enter the room she came out of and collect 3 Mushrooms, a Syrup and a coin box. Leave, use the save album again and make sure you're healed. Enter the small door and follow the only path and you'll wind up right around the Beanstar. Obviously, it's gone, but Cackletta and Fawful are still around. They bring down Queen Bean (Ugliest...Queen...Ever) to teach the Bros a lesson.

This is one tough Queen. Start out by attacking her Left and Right Arms. When they deflate, you can attack her head on. When both of her arms are big, she pounds the ground and sends shockwaves to both Bros. The timing might be a bit rough, but you can dodge it. When only one arm is big, she will pound one Bro with it, which is somewhat hard to counter, since you use the Hammer for that one. When both her arms are gone, she will spit 4 beans at a random bro. Try to jump over the beans and not on them. If you hit them, they will turn into enemies. After a few turns, her arms will grow back. Just repeat the process and you'll be the winner!

Lady Lima notices that Queen Bean has eaten a worm which is why she's so pumped up. The bros find that she can be cured if she drinks the....Chuckola Reserve from the Chucklehuck Woods. Whatever the developers were on while making this game, I'd love some of it. While Luigi pokes away at Queen Bean, Mario gets the Beanbean Brooch. Time to continue on
