Go right from the warp pipe and north up two sets of stairs to meet a little ice person. He'll tell you that he hasn't seen Bowser, but you can go inside anyway if you want, and we want! Light the fireplace on the right side and go through the door. Save if you want and go up the left side. If you fight the enemy called Glrup, only use Hand attacks on it. When you fight Clumph's, do not use Mario's hand attack. It will burn their hair and they will run away so you won't get the EXP. Continue up the left side and through the door There is a digspot just north of where you came in. Dig it and exit to the west. Get the random block and the Super Mushroom and Super Syrup. Head back east and hammer the cracked wall 3 times to break though and go in. Head up the stairs and back inside. Clear the enemies and exit to the right. Spinjump across the gap and into the door. Shock Mario and move to the right and through the door. Repeat in the next room, but going to the left. Hit the ! block and leave. Once you get back to the ledge, drop back down into the room below and head to the northeast corner to see a door, which you should enter Go north and smash the wall and go through. Dig the spot north of the tag team block, get the coins and go west. Dig the spot you can see right off the start and hit the rally block and head back 2 screens and exit to the east. Follow the stairs down to the next screen. Hop up and take the two Hoo Beans and continue left to see some firewood. Use Firebrand on the logs and head back into the large room with the pot. Highjump up to grate over the pot and spinjump in place. This will create a whirlwind that will raise up to the grate leading into the rolling bar rooms Go back out and up the stairs out the right side. Spinjump over to the new whirlwind and continue spinning right to a new ledge. Exit to the right. Save if you want and dig the spot. Send Luigi under the gate and back up on the other side. Hit the ! block, switch back to Mario and send him through the door you just opened. Follow the stairs to the next screen and go through the north door. Take the Hoo Bean and the Ultra Mushroom from the blocks and fight the enemies if you want. Exit to the left. Go south and stand under the block Switch back to Luigi and exit to the right. Go up the stairs to the next screen and south to another. Get the Ultra Nut and kill the enemies if you want. Exit left. Go north and position Luigi under the other block. Have Mario and Luigi jump at the same time and hit the blocks. This will lower the gate in front of Mario. Take Luigi south a screen and west a screen. Switch back to Mario and go south and west to a new screen. Hit the ! and switch back to Luigi. Jump up on the barrel and hammer the switch. Go back to Mario and through the door you just opened Head north and position Mario under the block, switch back to Luigi and send him north under the other block. Hit them and Jojora will give you another test. This is like back at the school where you were in opposite rooms and blocks would swing by and you had to hit them. The target score is 30 blocks in 25 seconds. It can be a bit of a challenge, but you have unlimited tries, so it's not a big deal. Once you've gotten the 30, send Mario north and up the steps and through the door to a new screen Follow the steps to a new screen. Light the 4 torches here and go back down the steps to the last room. Position Mario on the yellow blocks and switch to Luigi and bring him in. Put Luigi under the yellow block. Switch back to Mario and have Luigi bump the block. When it's in the air, jump with Mario onto the blocks to the left. Get the coins from the block and go left to the next screen. Drop down and take the two Hoo Beans and the Ultra Mushroom from the blocks. Continue south and east to the next screen and position Mario under the block then switch back to Luigi Have Luigi take the southwest exit and he'll be near Mario. Hit the blocks at the same time to lower the gate for Mario. Switch back and go south and hit the ! block to drop a barrel on Luigi's side. Pay attention to where the barrel drops. Enter the room with Luigi and stand where the barrel dropped. Hit the ! switch with Mario and have the barrel land on Luigi. Go back north and stand on the switch. This will create a bridge where you played the block game for Jojora. Switch to Mario and head back. Walk both the bros back to the bridge to finally reunite Get on the east bridge and exit to the south. Follow the path until you hit a room with a save album. Save if you want and highjump up the blocks here and go north through the door. Follow the steps to the next screen. Go north to the fountain and east to the next screen. Follow the steps down to another new screen and you'll meet up with Jojora again, and he will run off again. Head west and dig the spot then hammer the cracked wall and go through. Get the Ultra Mushroom and the Hoo Bean. Hit the rally block and go back to the last screen and exit to the east. Follow the path to a new screen. Light the firelogs and hit the random block. Go back 2 screens to the screen with the pot Like the last time, stand on the grate above the pot and spinjump to create a whirlwind. This one will be on the platform with the torches on it. Take the northeast exit and up the stairs to get back there. Fill Mario with water and have Luigi hammer the water at the whirlwind. This will put out all the torches and open the northwest door. Go through it. Save and hop up the steps and go east to find a block with an Ultra Mushroom in it. Take it and go back west to a ! block. Prepare by putting Mario in the back and bringing up his Hand icon. Hit the ! block and move QUICKLY south, facing east. Use your dash to get across. You cannot literally waste one split second here or you won't make it across. Once you make it across, you'll be on a new screen In this room, Jojora will greet you and ask you to invite someone. Pick whoever you want. After a short convo, you'll fight Jojora and whichever friend you invited. They all look the same, but the name will change depending on what you pick, so that's the only difference When Jojora is on the screen, only attack him. When he tries to attack you, counter his attack with your hammer and it will fly from his hand. He'll run off to get it. When he's off the screen, pound on the big one with Bro Attacks. I prefer Knockback Bros and Swing Bros. The big one will attack by going off the screen and turning herself into a giant snowball and roll at you. Both Bros need to hammer this one to stop it. Also, she might change her hair color to red or green. If she does, she'll be rolling at the bro with the matching color. She will also try and hug and kiss one of the bros, but it's pretty simple to avoid. Just keep repeating the attack process and it shouldn't last long Once you win, Jojora will cry and run off, but not before returning to call you JERKS. If you look north, you'll notice two unlit torches. Light them and exit to the east. Here you'll find Fawful who wants the Beanstar. Send Luigi under the gate and over to Fawful. He'll try to pass off the Fake Beanstar, but he'll see right through it and take the real one. Once you control Luigi, save if you want and go north. Hit the switch and Mario will come through while Luigi cries like a baby. Mario will oddly raise Peach's dress and you can move again. Hop up to the northeast and follow the path east until you find Fawful again. Mario will demans Peach's return and Bowletta refuses. All of a sudden, another Peach?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? This is obviously Luigi and using some trickery, he makes Bowletta believe the Peach it has is an impostor. How a dress alone can make a grown man look and sound like a woman is beyond me. Anyway, Bowletta will release the real Peach and chase after Luigi, finally getting him and taking him away Once on the Koopa Cruiser, Bowletta will use some sly trickey of his own.....to discover the Peach he has is really Luigi. Now I'm not one to pass judgement, but he cries several times, he's afraid of Cockroaches and he has an exquisite fashion sense? You figure it out. Luigi will run off and cut off Fawful and Bowletta with a...box....just a box...yeah. Luigi will change out and you can save to the north if you want. Go east to the next screen. Shock the orbs north of you and to the far right. Bump the block you made to get several Hoo Beans. Continue east down the steps. Keep going east and hop onto the crates and get the Super Mushroom. Drop down and shock the two orbs. Cross the bridge and shock another to make another multiple Hoo Bean box. Bump it and go west to a new screen Go south for an Ultra Mushroom. Go back north and hop on the crates for a Super Nut and continue west and south for a Super Mushroom. Continue south and west to a new room. Shock the orb to the left, cross the bridge going north and shock another orb. Head west and shock the orb left of the save album. Hit the multiple Hoo Bean block and save if you want. Continue west. Shock the orb and Luigi will recover the Beanstar and jump off the Cruiser. Peasley will meet up with you and Luigi will give him the Beanstar. A bird will come by and cut the straps on Luigis parachute. We cut back to Mario and the Princess who are on the look out for Luigi. After he makes his graceful landing, Prince Peasley will float down and call Luigi a showboat. Luigi sinks under the sand and lands on a teeter totter type of thing that will send a ! block out of the sand. Everyone will leave and let Mario help Luigi Go north and hammer the rock. Go north to a new screen and back south from the exit just to the left. This will cause a block somewhere to be lowered. Not too long after, Popple will find Luigi and order Rookie to tie him up. Hmm..a new Rookie? Go north a screen and west to get a 1-Up Mushroom, a Super Mushroom and a coin box. Get them all and go east and north over the lowered block. Head west to the next screen. Keep heading west until you see a yellow pipe, which you should enter Follow the path and light the left candle. Go north up the steps and use the save album. Go north through the door to find Luigi. Charge up your Firebrand to free him. Popple will come out with his new Rookie, Birdo. Popple will destroy you, DESTROY YOUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! This is a really straight fight. Go for Popple first. He has the same attacks as the other times. Birdo will either spit an egg at you which is easy to jump and avoid or try to suck you in with her nose. Wait to get close and just hammer counter real quick to get out of this. Once you beat Popple, the Birdo will get angry and spit 4 eggs at random bros. Another easy Popple battle down the drain Popple will be angry with Birdo for causing him to lose. Birdo will knock Popple away and she'll run off. Enter the yellow pipe northeast of you. Climb up and drop down. Go just a bit left until you see the sign. Go south one screen 3 screens west and another screen south. You should know the area well by now, so make your way into Beanbean The town has been destroyed again and a Bean says you should take refuge, but let's blend coffee and shop first shall we? Blend any coffee and check the equip shop. I suggest Casual Slacks for both bros. It doesn't have first strike, but it gives you a 20 point HP and Defense boost. I also suggest a General Badge for Mario. When you're done, head into the castle. Lima and Queen Bean will talk to you about the attack and say they're happy you're going to Bowser's Castle. Prince Peasley will say they can't impose on the bros any more than they have (so they use you the whole game then decide they're imposing? Anyway, Luigi will cry again and Lima and Bean will leave you to go for Bowletta. But you need someone who can fly. Remember the dragon who flew you down from the mountain? Yep, we're going back there You're in the final stages of the game. Finish anything you might not have done before. If you want to compare, this was my setup: When you're ready, take the warp pipe in Beanbean to Stardust Fields. Go south 1 screen, follow the path to a new screen, and make your way to the southwest exit. Keep going west and into a cave. Follow through and you'll come to Hoo Hoo Village. Just go west over the bridge and the dragon is right there. Talk to him and he'll take you to Bower's Castle |
