Walkthrough

Mario and Luigi land in a place called Stardust Fields. After they talk through their problems, you're ready to go. Walk left to save if you want and talk to the Koopa's down on the ground. Continue left into the castle and you'll meet the good ole Hammer Bros. After some small talk, you'll need to play Border Jump to get into Beanbean Kingdom. If you haven't played yet, be sure to have them explain the rules before you play. It might take you a few tries to get it right, but you'll get it. Before going on, you can go back into the castle and play level 2 of the game. This time around you can win some items called HeeBeans which will come into play later on. I suggest you keep playing until you have 20 or so. It will not be easy, but you can do it with good timing and some practice. Each time you play it will get harder. When you clear Super Border Jump Sunshine and go back in, if you select "No" they will let you play Super Border Jump Complete, which is all the levels back to back. I personally haven't been able to do this. Maybe you can?

After you've played and collected your HeeBeans, the Hammer Bros will let you pass into Beanbean Kingdom. Outside the castle, walk left and the Hammer Bros will give you a Beanbean Map. Press Select and choose Beanbean Map to see it. Taking the pipe to the north will bring you to the Map, but going south will take you where you need to be. Go south and read the sign to learn about the Spiky Stardust Defense System (those little flashing spikes right next to the sign). Hop your way right and hit the box for a Mushroom. Go south and left over more spikes to another box with another Mushroom. Head across the bridge and exit

On this screen you'll start to see enemies around. I usually fight any enemies I come to. I won't go out of my way to kill each enemy on the screen, but you get the picture. All the ledges here are too high for you to go anywhere, so just head south and exit to the left. Use the Save Album if you want and head up the ledges and you'll find Bowser. He's in a little bit of a bind and wants some help. Tolstar, the great and famed king of Stardust Fields says he'll help you, but you need to bring him 100 coins. But your Mushroom Kingdom coins are no good, so you're off to collect more. Exit from the bridge Tolstar opened up

Follow the only path you can to a new screen and over more spikes. Tag team the coin box and go right. Start by going south and hit the box on the left for as many coins as you can. Go back up and drop down to the right. Hop on the ledge and get the Mushroom from the box. Go right up all the ledges and up another one to find two golden colored blocks. Hop on, hold left and alternate between A and B to make it to the other side. Tag team the coin box and go back. Drop down to the right and head to the next screen

Get the Syrup from the item box and go up the steps on the right and step on the star logo on the ground. You'll meet the Starshade Brothers, who will teach you all about special things the Mario Bros can do in this game. Pay very close attention to their little training course because it will all come in handy throughout the game. After the training program, do as they wish and make your way up the the flag. Be sure to snatch the Mushroom from the item box on the way. When you hit the flag, they'll leave you be. Drop down to the left and take the Syrup from the item box and take the southern exit

There's a Save Album all the way south if you want to use it. Go up all the stairs and north. Use the High Jump to get onto the ledge and take the Syrup and some coins from the boxes. Drop back to the south and go to another ledge with a single item box. Hit it as much as you can to get some coins and drop down to the left. Go back down the stairs and to where the save album was. Hop up on the ledge to the north, on the barrels and then onto the top. Tag team the coin box and drop back down. Exit to the left

On this screen, the Starshade Brothers will teach you how to use Bro Attacks in battle. Again, pay very close attention so you can learn how to do these right. Exit to the left. Drop down to the ground level and head left until you can see the shadow of an item box. Jump up and hit the box as much as you can for some coins. Go up the stairs and hop on the golden blocks and work your way right. Hit the coin box for as many coins as you can and go back. Check your coins. If you have more than 100 (which you should if you've been fighting enemies), go left and you'll be back at the screen with Bowser. If not, go fight the enemies you didn't fight

Tolstar will take your money and then go back on his word to help Bowser. Obviously, it's clobberin time! He starts off by throwing balls at you, which I find hard to avoid. You can use Bro Attacks if you want, but unless your timing is perfect, you'll probably get more damage off regular attacks. After awhile, he'll throw balls that bounce a good distance in the air. DO NOT try to avoid these. They'll bounce right over you as long as you stay put. After that, he'll start to throw two in a row at random. One will be high and one will be low, but no telling what brother it will be at. Sometimes it's the same one, other time it's split. Not as easy as Fawful, but not hard either

After the battle, one of the Starshade Bros will get quite upset with all of Bowser's complaining and launch him from the cannon, taking out Tolstar in the process. Continue left to the next screen. Use the save album if you want and continue on. Go up the steps and use the high jump to get the Mushroom from the item box. Drop off to the left and grab another Mushroom from the box. Take the southern exit and follow the path. When you try to cross the bridge, you'll be confronted by some of Beanbeans forces. They think you kidnapped Prince Peasly. When they don't believe you, a bruised up Tolstar fills them in on your identity. From the description the guys give of the kidnapper, it sounds like someone we've met before. Head over the bridge you were stopped at before to reach Hoohoo Village

Hoohoo here we come!
