Walkthrough

Start by going south and down some stairs. Follow the path until you see an opening, which you should enter. The box on the left is a multiple coin box, the middle box is a Mushroom and the right box are some coins. Exit and go left for another item box with a Mushroom in it. Take it and go back to the entrance. Go up the stairs and talk to all the little cactus people as your cross the bridge. Exit to the left and save if you want. Go up the stairs to the left and into the opening to find a multiple coin box. Get your coins, exit and go back to the save album. Go south and then left and out

Like last time, talk to the cactus people as you cross the bridge. When you exit to the left, you'll find Fawful beating on some guard. After all is said and done, he makes your haulting place because he have fury!

Go back two screens and exit through the upper left. Talk to all the cactus people on the edge of the bridge and then enter the house. They tell you they can make you a hammer, but they need Hoohoo Blocks, which are found on the mountain top. Exit the house and continue left over the bridge. Work your way up, being sure to snag the Mushroom on the way up. When you see the sign, go left before heading right and get the Syrup. Go right and exit

Go down and defeat the enemies and then climb the mountain. Use the Spin Jump and spin into the whirlwind. After a few seconds, spin over to the other side and exit to the right. Climb up just a bit and exit to the left. Take the Syrup from the box and go left and stand in front of the waterfall. Mario will fill up and get fat. With Mario in front, stand in front of the red monster and use Luigi's High Jump. Mario will spit the water onto the monster and a whirlwind will appear. Use the whirlwind to reach a save album and a Mushroom. Go back to where you landed coming off the whirlwind and continue left and up the mountain. Exit to the north

On this screen, fill up with water and put out the monster. Fill up again and go right one screen. Put out the monster here and go back. Hop up the ledges and use the first whirlwind to carry you over to the ledge. Go right and use the next whirlwind. Hit the ! box and it will start the fountain a few screens back. Drop down to the right and exit to the south. Go to the fountain you just activated and put out the monster to the right. Use the whirlwind and you'll end up by some stairs. Before going right, use the high jump to reach a 1-Up Mushroom and a coin box. Go back down and go right

Talk to the gold statue and accept the challenge. What you need to do is use Mario's Spin Jump to catch 10 spirits. It's a little bit difficult to get them all, but as long as your timing and speed is on, you'll do it. My advice is to just try and stay between two ledges. Don't try and travel to hit one because it will probably be gone when you get there. After you win, you'll have to fight

Hoohoohors will hide under two stone pillars. You need to destroy the pillar he isn't hiding under before you destroy the one he is under so he has nowhere to hide. When you get him out in the open, he'll shoot a laser across the screen. It's pretty easy to avoid and the rest is cake. Pound him with Bro Attacks and he'll be gone before long

Use the newly raised ledge and grab the Syrup and the Mushroom from the two tall ledges and then climb up the mountain. Start by hitting the ! box to the upper left and then continue on. Use the Spin Jump and then an angled High Jump to get to the fountain you turned on. Fill Mario with water and walk all the way right and then drop down. Walk up the stairs and put out the monster. Start by using the whirlwind to get to the box right next to it with a Syrup. Get back in and let it take you all the way to a ledge. High Jump up, grab the Syrup and exit to the north

Walk all the way left and take the 1-Up Mushroom from the box and go back to the entrance. Climb up and time your Spin Jump to get into the moving whirlwind. Use another Spin Jump to cross the gap and follow the path to the exit. Climb up the steps, but don't hop in the whirlwind yet. Follow the path right and take the Mushroom from the box. Go back to the steps. This part is sort of difficult. You need to catch the moving whirlwind, but you need to do it when it's far enough to carry you over the gap, but close enough that you can reach it. I like to use it to get to the small ledge you can see to the northeast, and then jump back in and finish the trip

Once you get across, you need to be really careful. Any mistake probably means doing it all over again. Jump in the whirlwind up top and press left to get to a Mushroom and a Syrup in the boxes. Jump up and fall down to the right, follow the path to the next screen. Cross the bridge, use the telescope if you want, and follow the path until you hit a save album. Save and go right. Run into the small ball in front of the sleeping thing to start some small conversation. After the alligator looking dude blows the bird away, it's fightin time

Another easy boss. If he summons a Hoohoo Stone, destroy it. He can stand on it to shorten the distance between you a him, making it very hard to dodge his hits. Other than that he's pretty easy. His balls are a bit fast, but slow enough to avoid. When you hit him enough, he shrinks down. You want this. It makes his balls fly lower, making them extra easy to avoid. Pound away and say bye bye

After the battle, you find that your enemy was none other than Prince Peasly. He'll tell you his story and gives you a rose that will grant you entry into Beanbean castle. The dragon will bring you back down into the village. Go left two screens and enter the house. The Hammer Bros will make you two hammers. You can now smash stuff. Do as they suggest and destroy the rock in the house and grab the Nut from the item box and exit the house. Go back right one screen and exit from the bottom left path

Go left to the next screen to find the statue Fawful brought before. Smash it, grab the Nut from the item box and exit to the south. Smash the rocks and make your way to the bottom right of the screen. Smash the pole sticking up from the ground to make the water flow to the north. Fill Mario and have him spit the water on the fire rock. Break it with the hammer and continue on. Tag team the coin box and continue right, ignoring the rocks. Get the two Mushrooms and the two Syrups and go back and enter the cave

Talk to the old man in the rocker and tell him you want to ride his carts. Ask for an explanation to learn the rules. This mini game is simple. Just keep the light on Luigi as much as you can and be sure to avoid the stomping blocks. Once you get out, take the Mushroom and the Nut and then continue right. At the end of the bridge, the Hammer Bros will teach you how to attack and defend in battle in with your new hammers

To the right, you see some black rocks. These can't be broken with your hammers yet. Go north and up the stairs and exit. Take the Mushroom and the Syrup, tag team the coin box and exit again to the north. Take the Syrup from the box and then go back to the screen with the black rocks and exit to the south

You'll start off in a big grassy field. Nothing much to do here, just work your way south. In this area, take out the enemies and go south again. Just a note, you'll start to fight Sharpea here, an enemy with spikes. Do not try to get a jump start on the battle, or use jump attacks in battle. Only use Hammers...obvious reasons. Avoid heading south for now, as there are tough enemies which could easily finish you off. Head right and you'll find Beanbean Castle Town

Beanbean Castle!
