1 - Your Farm
There's nothing really to do here, but get the best view in the game. The only reason you'll usually find yourself up here is because it's the setting of an event.
3 - Spring Mine
This mine is available to you all year around and has all the ores needed for you to upgrade your equipment. For full details of how mining works and what could be found, check out the Mining section.
4 - Lake Mine
This mine is located in the center of the lake just south of Mother Hill. It is only available when winter rolls by and the lake freezes over. You could dig up valuable jewels to sell and the cursed tools are located here. For full details of how mining works and what could be found, check out the Mining section.
5 - Hot Spring
Like in the original Harvest Moon, the Hot Spring is here to recharge some of your stamina when you jump inside. Don't spend more than an hour in there or you'll just be wasting time (unless you want that). When you get the Bathroom made in your house, you won't really need the Hot Spring anymore.
6 - Gotz's Carpentry
Open 11AM to 4PM, except on Saturdays
Lumberjack Gotz is the only other person besides you who prefers to not actually live in the main section of town. He doesn't really follow the store hours and can sometimes be late or wandering outside when he's supposed to be in his damn house. But, when he's open, he'll upgrade your farm buildings or sell you pieces of lumber. For full details on his services, check out the Building Upgrades section.
7 - Poultry Farm
Open 11AM to 4PM, except on Sundays
What do you do here? Buy chickens of course! Lila runs the store with help from her son Rick. Popuri lives here as well, so you'll run into her a lot. For full details on how to care for your chickens, check out the Animals section.
Open 10AM to 3PM, except on Mondays
Barley runs the ranch, and lives with his granddaughter May. This is the place you come when you want to buy some cows and sheep. For full details on how to care for your cows and sheep, check out the "Animals" section.
Open 10AM to 4PM, except on Thursdays
Saibara is the resident blacksmith of the town who upgrades all of your weapons and creates items for you with the proper ore. He works alongside his grandson Gray, who he always gives a hard time. All of his jobs require a day or more to complete, so you'll have to drop by another day to pick up whatever you requested (except the Scissors, Milker, and Brush).
For 100,000,000G and 999 pieces of wood, you could have Gotz build you a beautiful Vacation Home here. It's not really worth all the trouble though...
11 - Rose Square
The town square, where you could occasionally find villagers standing around, enjoying the nice weather. This is where most of the festivals take place, and if you're unsure of which are coming up, check out the bulletin board. Also, throw your junk away in the garbage can. People will like you better.
12 - Mineral Beach
The center point of a couple festivals in the summer. There are actually a few reasons to come by here: to play Frisbee with your dog, to fish, to collect grass found on the beach during certain seasons, or to visit the residents who live on the beach.
13 - Won's Shop
Open 11AM to 4PM
Zack, the guy who ships your crops, lives here with the traveling merchant Won. Besides getting the Fishing Rod, the only other real reason to visit is to purchase a series of miscellaneous items from Won.
Open 11AM to 1PM and 5PM to 7PM, except on seasons other than summer and Sundays
When Kai drops in on Mineral Town during the summer, he opens up his restaurant on the beach. You could only eat the food he sells inside.
Open 10AM to 12PM, except on Saturdays
The winery belongs to Aja, who is not currently in Mineral Town. So her parents Duke and Manna run the place. There's not much to do here, but buy drinks from Manna during the 2 hours they are open a day.
Open 8AM to 9PM
This is the liveliest place in Mineral Town. Not only does it stay open for most of the day, but there's not one specific day in the week in which they are always closed. Doug runs the Inn, with help from his daughter Ann. You could buy food here (but cannot take it out) and use the phone to order off the Home Shopping Network.
Open 10AM to 4PM, except on Mondays
Mary runs the library in the town. It contains books of information and tips pertaining to the game. Mary and her parents, Basil and Anna, live right next door.
18 - Ellen's Home
The old lady Ellen (Elli's grandmother) lives here with her grandson Stu (Elli's little brother). You could stop by and talk to the two when you're around. If you're good friends with Ellen, she will knit you a sock if you give her yarn.
19 - Mayor's Home
Mayor Thomas inhabits the house next door to Ellen. And for some strange reason, he lives with Harris the Patrolman. You could stop by and say "hi" every once in a while.
20 - Jeff's Supermarket
Open 9AM to 5PM, except on Sundays and Tuesdays
Jeff, his wife Sasha, and daughter Karen run the Supermarket. He sells seeds, food products, and even gear so you could carry more things, so you'll be finding yourself here a lot.
Open 9AM to 4PM, except on Wednesdays
The Doctor (of course) lives and works here, alongside his nurse Elli. You could purchase tonics from Elli that will recover either fatigue or energy and get a checkup from the Doctor.
Open 10AM to 6PM
You could find Pastor Carter either inside at the altar or outside enjoying the day. There are two doors across the wall of the church. The left door will lead you to the confessional, where you ask for forgiveness of a sin or get an item uncursed for 1000G. The room will be unlocked between 1PM and 4PM, except on non-sunny days, Monday, and Wednesday. The right door leads to Carter's secret field of Truffle mushrooms, which sell for 500G each! You need to be good friends with Carter before he unlocks the door for you.
23 - Sprites' Hut
Open 9AM to 6PM
The 7 Harvest Sprites all live in a hut behind the church. They'll come and work on your farm if you are good friends with them. For full details, check out the "Harvest Sprites" section.
