The Imperial Path: Keep Your Enemies Closer
The Imperial Path. What could be more fun. Personally,
this would have
to be the hardest of all paths, but ill let you decide. You get to use
Leon.Yes!
-I know that Vargas can be a Hero too, but because of the lack of Water
units in this path, it would be best to make him go Serpent. (Note: I
have also seen it done by making Vargas a Hero. The only scenario of
difficulty would be 15.)
-I would also suggest taking Imelda to be a Saint instead of a
Swordsman.
-Unfortunately, due to the complication of this path, I have officially
decided to tell you to make Hain a High Priest. You are definately
gonna need a healer. If you want to rough it make him a Wizard, be very
careful.
-DO NOT TAKE SONIA TO BE A KNIGHT WHAT-SO-F#*&ING-EVER!. Seriously,
she sucks as
a knight.
Suggested Classes:
Elwin-Hero
Hain-Wizard/High Priest
Rouga-Emperor
Leon-Royal Guard
Imelda-Queen
Vargas-Serpent Lord/Hero
Eggbert-Dark Master
Sonia-Wizard

- Defeat Lester within 19 turns.
Losing Condition
- Death of Elwin.
- Time runs out.

Your greeted with everyone else talking
about Elwin going Imperial. They are all deeply saddened that he went
Imperial but now they have to stop him. They agree to slow down the
progress by cutting down the bridge. Seems familiar.
This battle is actually a LOT easier in this path than in Light.
However, it gets harder. Start having Leon kill what he can. He needs
the experience. Around turn 3 or 4 Keith will come in. He has 2 angels,
which at this time is pretty amazing. But you'll get backed up with
Imelda and High Elfs. Make way for her. Kill these guys as fast as you
can, while killing all that you can. Lester has Grenadiers, and they
can be tough. Leon can take them though. If you kept all of Rouga's
bandits, he can take on the Pikes. Have somebody, anybody, kill the
healer behind Lester. Meanwhile, your guy is going down to coord.
(33,17), or the spot with a stick in the water. This is the last of the
secret scenarios.
Afterwords, your guys decide to head to the nearest town.

YAY ANOTHER SEKRET SCENAIRO!
This is the last one so whateva. This battle has a lot of creatures.
Living Armor, General, Dragon, Hawk, Serpent, Mages, Cerberus, and the
ilk. There is a LOT of dialouge in this scenario. Like, for serious,
when somebody attacks certain guys, they talk. And, every turn almost,
Hain has something to say to Elwin. GAH!
Just run through these guys, they aren't hard.

You stopped at the nearest town and
realized that Sherry is here to stop you. But she needs to make sure
that the villagers survive and escape.
This battle isnt as hard as it looks. If your guy has Dragoons, which
he should by now, he can take on the fliers and the water units. Pikes
will be for Vargas or Rouga. Vargas decides to help you at turn 7. Save
him something. Once all the guys are defeated, Sherry gets pissed and
heads over to attack you. She has angels, which are still difficult to
kill right now. Use attack on your guys to kill them. I would say give
Vargas the kill of Sherry.
Afterwords, you head towards Langrisser, but encounter a problem.

Your on your way to Langrisser, when you
run into a roadblock at a nearby outpost. It's gaurded by Aaron, and he
will stop at nothing to...well, stop you!
I suggest having Elwin on the top slot. On the first turn move everyone
back, and Elwin forwards a couple of steps. (Just enough so that the
top of his CR is right next to the crack in the bridge.) Move one of
his troops next to the crack in the bridge and wait till next turn. The
main force will move forward, and also some Serpents come. On the next
player turn, move Elwin back. You want to get all the guys to crowd
around your force. It makes it alot easier to take them out. Hain and
Imelda will be fireballing so it will make it easier. Once they are
defeated, move Rouga and Elwin up. They will be the main force against
Aaron's troops. The ballistae will eventually move up. If you still
have all your archers, move Hain and Imelda up also. Thier fireballs
can leave a huge dent in Ballistae. Try to give the ballistae leaders
to Imelda if you haven't really been working on her.
Afterwords you head towards Langrisser.

Scenario #11 (36)
Elwin-Dragoon
Hain-High Elfs
Leon-Ryl. Gaurd
Rouga-Bandits
Imelda-Crusader
|
Winning Condition
- Defeat all enemies
- Elwin or Leon possess Langrisser
Losing Condition
- Death of Elwin.
- Sherry or Jessica get Langrisser first
|
Finally. You've made it to the old Baltia
kingdom where Langrisser is at rest. But Jessica and Co. know about it
too. They want to get it before the Empire can and use it for their own
evil deeds.
This battle doesn't look easy, and it's not. Hain with High Elfs,
really made this alot easier. Send Leon and Elwin to go get Langrisser.
Rouga, Laird, Imelda, and Hain stay back as protection. Laird will ask
what to do. Tell him to stay there. Move Hain and Imelda behind him.
Rouga should stay there until the horsemen are dead. Have Elwin take
out Keith right away. (Don't worry about the angels.)
Have Leon take out the Hawk Knights. Chances are, when you take some of
the enemy troops out, Laird will kill the leader. Who cares. It makes
this battle alot easier. Try to get Rouga promoted on this level if you
haven't already. Sometime around here, Vargas shows up with Phalanx.
Hopefully you sasved the archers for him and Rouga. Two or three turns
after Vargas shows up, Sherry shows up. By this time, your guy should
have been near Langrisser. Use him as a defense. Once Jessica gets
there, her highelfs will slaughter your guys dragoons. Just have your
guy kill Sherry and take Langrisser. It's about the only way to do this
level.
After you get Langrisser, Leon asks you a question. He asks you what
you want to do with the Langrisser.
If you choose to give it to Raygaurd, Leon, Imelda, and Vargas stay
with you.
If you choose to take it and do what you want with it, they leave you,
and you got your Independence. Punk.

You got Langrisser and went to go talk to
Bernhardt. Eggbert is at his right side of course. They talk about how
you need to power up Langrisser and get Alhazard. Now you on your way.
Sherry, Keith, Jessica, and Riana are here to stop you. Your job is to
try and convince Riana to come with you, but she wont be persuaded.
Try to get Vargas as much experience as possible. His leviathans will
get owned, so they're no help. This battle is a considerably easier
battle than all the others. Sherry, Keith, and the rest of the
"characters" won't move to attack. Giving you lots of time to take the
others out and heal. After they're gone, take on Sherry and the rest.
The hardest to kill will possibly be Riana. She uses protection...no
not condoms...and can be difficult to kill.
Afterwords, you head to Scott's house to drop in and say hi.

Well, Scott is having a talk with his
father, when all of a sudden you attack. OH NO! You came to find out
where Riana is hiding.
Place Elwin and Vargas on the bottom slots and Leon and Rouga in the
top ones. Leviathans and Grenadiers to take out phalanx and
Dragoons to take out Grenadiers. Use attack2 on Vargas. The only tough
opponets will be the mages with highelfs. After Leon and Rouga get done
with thier guys, have them block the back entrance, which is what Scott
will go for. Later, two other guys will come to help out. Send some
groups to the side and take them out.
Now it's time to see how Aaron is doing.

A small outpost gaurded by Aaron. You
manage to spot him, and ask him where Riana is. He won't tell you
though. I guess you'll have to force it out of him.
I would have to say this is a pretty hard battle. The toughest opponent
would be the mage in the middle. That's where Vargas comes in. Vargas's
troops will get Pw/\/3D by the nixies. Use Attack 2 on them or
something. Hain's high elfs can help weaken them down. Once the Serpent
Lord is dead, try to take the mage. First his ballistae and make a path
to him. Do not let him use thunder on Vargas. It does like 7 to
leviathans and like 5 to him. Leon takes on the the Grenadiers at the
bottom while Rouga takes the Dragoons with phalanx. Give the mage at
the bottom to Imelda, so as not to let her feel left out. Over all, the
toughest guy here would probably be Aaron.
After you defeat Aaron, Kerry and Shieth...i mean Keith and Sherry,
show up. That's a major hint towards Kalzas.

Losing Condition
- Death of Elwin.
- Riana and Jessica escape
|
You've made your way to Kalzas, where Riana
is being held. You mount your attack, but the resistance is strong.
They'll stop at nothing to protect Riana.
Now this can be very difficult. I suggest putting Vargas on the middle
slot. His job is to take the path to the left around to head off Riana
and Jessica. Block the exit on the left with him. Do kill Jessica as
fast as you can. She has Meteor, which will destroy Leviathans.
However, you'll probably bring the fliers with Vargas. Leviathans can
whack Angels. Don't do anything until you got Riana trapped. You can
kill her troops but not her. Until then, move the mages to the middle,
your guy above them Leon to the left of your guy and to the right. Leon
should take out Lester. Rouga gets Sherry a little later. Your guy gets
the guys with phalanx. The mages get the mages. Perferably have Eggbert
or Hain kill Keith. The only hard part about this level would have to
be stopping Jessica and Riana from escaping.
(This is also possible one other way. Set everyones troops to idle, and
just send the leaders. Kill only the enemy leaders, and this will be
easy. Also note that this should only be done if you wanted to take
Vargas as a Hero.)
Afterwords, you head to the seal of Alhazard.

The Seal of Alhazard. Bosel will have his
hands on it soon. He breaks the seal, and decides to keep Alhazard for
himself. However, that meant decieveing the Empire, and they will not
stand for that.
Put Leon and Elwin on the sides. Elwin on left, Leon on the right.
You'll see why shortly. Put Rouga right under Sonia, so on turn one you
can move him up. I do suggest only moving him at the very last point of
her CR. Everyone else should just kinda move to the middle. Use Meteor
and Fireball to kill the Ballistae. Rouga's job is the golem and the
vampires. On turn 2, or so, Jessica, Sherry, and Lester, show up to
stop you from getting Alhazard. This is where you let them take care of
Est and Ost. Chances are, Est won't be killed because the commander
with the high elfs is too stupid to know how to kill him. That's where
Rouga comes in. He should kill the vampire lord on the left so Elwin
can get through to destroy Est, Sherry, and the commander. Once Rouga
is done, have him take out the right, so that Leon can go and destroy
Lester. Now, heres the trick. Only move ONE of Leon's troops down, so
that Jessica uses Earthquake. Her magic will kill Leon on a head on
attack, so this tactic is helpful. Do this until her magic is depleted
and then move in for the kill. Now, with everyone up near Bosel (I
suggest Hain, Imelda, and Eggbert in the middle), it's time to take him
on. Use magic to destroy his gaurds. Once they are defeated, do the
same tactic you used with Jessica. Once this is done, move Hain up. On
his next turn, use Attack 2, and use his high elfs to finish the job.
Bosel flees with Alhazard, so now you have to track him down.
However, there is aother problem. If you answer no to the question
asked to you, you have the choice to go after Jessica.

Jessica heads to get the Holy Rod. But
Laird unexpectedly shows up and kills her. He brings the Holy Rod to
the Bernhardt and you power up Langrisser. Now all you need to do is
get Alhazard from Bosel. But it appears he is still using Sonia as his
pet.
Have Elwin near one of the golems. Leon on the top slot. Rouga and
Vargas have phalanx on each side of Leon. The casters in the next three
slots. They will take the other golem. On turn 1, move Leon down so as
to not attract the Meteor from the Vampirelord. This battle is pretty
straight foreward. I mean don't let the bone dinos or cerberus attack
Rouga or Vagas directly. Crusaders can do a number on Golems. When
everyone is gone except Sonia, have Rouga move in her CR to get her on
your team. But it only works if you did the same in Beggining 9 and
Imperial 16.
All scenarios after this one will vary slighty depending on whether you
got Sonia or not. The only difference is that she is not in the group.

You've made it into Bosel's castle. Time to
take down the head honcho and obtain the mightiest power in all the
land.
Start with Elwin at the top. Leon to the left, Rouga to the right, and
Vargas below him. Below Vargas should go in this order: Sonia,
Hain, Imelda, Eggbert. Hain should use Meteor on a group of
enemies (that have witches), and have Imelda and Sonia use like
fireball or something. Have Eggbert move up. Move Vargas closer to
Elwin. You're going to get hit with alot of magic in this level. Rouga
and Vargas are the most important people here. They have Heal, so make
good use of it. Basically, this level is just a "take it kind of slow"
thing (kind of like what your girlfriend says...ouch). Kill what you
can, when you can. Once the enemies at the bottom are finished
(preferably have Sonia kill them) start moving them up. Thier magic
will help too. Have Leon kill Est(?) and Rouga kill Ost(?) Somewhere
around there, have Eggbert summon Golem, he is an important asset here
too. Eggbert and Sonia should kill the one Dragon (the ones with Bone
dinos) and have Vargas kill the other. Once all is silent, have Leon go
kill the Vamplord on the left, and (this will take awhile, but will be
worth it) have Sonia kill the one on the right. This will take many,
many, Attack 2's, so be prepared. Once this is over, put everyone on
idle, and move the leaders up. Have the stronger ones kill the Vampire
Lord. Then have Bosel waste his magic on your guys. Vargas and Rouga
with the healing. Then kill all of his troops and send Elwin in for the
kill. Please take note that Bosel WILL kill you're guy, so take
precaution. Protect 2 is in order.
Once Bosel dies, Alhazard is yours. To ruin the moment, Laird bursts
in and tells you that Lester is trying to catch a boat (your boat) so
they can stop you from getting Alhazard. Well, that's your cue to go.

Lester wants to catch a ride on a boat.
Your boat. You won't let this happen. To arms, Men! Opponent: Lester.
Have Sonia at the top, to the bottom left of her, Leon, to the bottom
right, Eggbert. Below Leon should be Vargas and Elwin. Below Eggbert:
Rouga and Sonia. Hain goes at the bottom. On the first turn, move Sonia
back, Leon move in front of her, and have Eggbert summon the Demon
Lord. Move Imelda down next to Hain. Those two will be safe, Angels
wont't attack Hain's archers because it's Hain and they won't touch
Crusaders. Hain should take down the vast majority of the Angels. Have
Imelda kill some, too. Heck, Hain could (and should) take on the
Serpent Lord by the bottom. Leon can take on the one at top, while
having Sonia take out the Angels with her Witches. Rouga is your
healer for right now. Move Vargas up, and Elwin across. Elwins
importance is for only one item: Glaepnir. It's at Coordinates (4,10).
Once the Nixies are taken down, things should be fun. Start laying
waste to the enemie troops with Meteor, Fireball, whatever. Rouga
should take out the guys with Phalanx. Leon can move fast so have him
go after the Wizards. All in all, this battle isn't difficult. Oh, and
for sake of the story, have Elwin kill Lester...seems a little more
dramatic.
Once Lester is defeated, Lester tells Elwin that it didn't have to be
this way, and Elwin says it's too late. Once Lester dies, they
decide that they need to lay waste to thier resistance: Kalzas.

Kalzas. The place you once thought a safe
haven. Now it's time for it to be destroyed. Next opponent: Sherry.
One the left, have Sonia at the top, Hain to the lower left, Imelda to
the lower right, and Elwin behind them. On the left, have them in any
order that you want as long as Eggbert is at the top. By this time
Eggbert should be a Dark Master, so he can summon the Demon Lord. (BTW,
get an orb for him.) Move the three mages on the left up slowly. Keep
Hain in approx. the middle of the bridge; you'll see why. Elwin should
move ahead, he's gonna take out the soldiers and be a blockade against
the phalanx later. Once he's up there, slowly take out the Angels with
witches (Sonia still needs to catch up). Get her as much experience
that you can on this level. Have Hain use Meteor on the Dragon Lord
because you don't want those pesky fireballs. On the right side, wait
one turn, then send Eggbert, Leon, and Rouga up. Rouga should stick
around on the bridge because of space issues. The Angels are for
Eggbert obviously and the soldiers are for Leon. Use Rouga for healing
if needed. Around turn 5, two knights will come around on both sides.
Hain can easily take out the set on the left, and Vargas can take out
the ones on the right. Use Attack 2 on Imelda and have her take out the
phalanx. Once they are dead, use attack 2 on Sonia and have her kill
the leader to the Phalanx. This side will be done first, so start
moving them up. Once there, have Hain use Meteor to weaken the
ballistae and have Sonia finish them off. Back to the right. Leon will
be a blockade for Vargas. Once Vargas gets up there, have him kill the
knights obviously, and have Rouga kill the phalanx. This shouldn't be a
difficult task. Heal when needed. Once everyone is up there (please set
them to idle, for it will get crowded) have Elwin and Leon take out
Sherry's troops. If Sherry's knights get close, you can have Sonia's
troops kill them. Once Sherry's troops are gone, move Sonia in to kill
the wizard on the right. Not hard. Then move her to the left, but make
sure her troops have Protection 2 and Attack 2. They can take them out,
but get wiped out too. Once the wizard on the left is dead, this
shouldn't be too hard. Have Elwin kill Sherry (for story purposes of
course.)
Once Sherry is dead, everybody decided for their next task. It's time
to tackle Jessica.
