So your opponent is KendoMan and his operator is none other than the infamous Mr. Famous. Mr. Famous wants Lan to meet up with KendoMan, so head into the airport and fly to NetFrica. When you're there, follow the small ramp up and jack into the NupopoComp. When you're inside, stick to your left and grab a BMD containing LocEnemy. From there continue on...

At the end of the NupopoComp, you should encounter a brown navi. Talk to him and take his test. If you're on Hard Mode, which will most likely be the case. Battle one is against two MagTect+ and a GloomerEX. Battle two is against one Walland and another GloomerEX. And finally, battle three is against a BarkEX, a Shrmpy2EX, and a GloomerEX. Mop the floor with those viruses to receive the NetFricC KeyItem.

Enter the portal and then open up the cube with your new obtained code. Head right, and simply follow the path to the point right before the C-Slider path. KendoMan should be standing right in front of it. You can refer to the map of NetFricaArea if you don't know what I'm talking about. After you find him, simply have MegaMan talk to him.

Apparently, he wants you to do some training and will give MegaMan a CybrSwrd. Your objective is to train with machines in YumLand Area, Netopia Area, and in Sharo Area. You have to complete all three to obtain the licenses that KendoMan requires. Sadly, you must do them in order.

Off to YumLand Area via the bottom right exit. Follow the straight forward path, and after you walk down the ramp, you should see a blue machine wielding a kendo stick. That is your objective. What you do is press the direction it tells you, and while doing so, you press the 'A' button. If it has a Right Arrow, you press 'Right' + 'A'. If the machine tells you to Block, you press 'Left' + 'A'. Fairly simple.

Upon defeating it, MegaMan should obtain a License1. Head back to NetopiaArea and walk towards Sharo Area. The machine is right after the ramp leading up. Whack the hell out of it for a License2. Just follow the path to Sharo Area after you win.

The third machine is right on the corner of Sharo Area. Defeat it for a Licsense3. To make things easier, just jack out and jack back into the statue. Go up and talk to KendoMan to end your training. After some lines, MegaMan and KendoMan will leave for the tournament.

Talk to the ostrich and head back to Netopia. Head into the colosseum to begin your matchup. Mr. Famous is nowhere to be found, so head all the way back to NetFrica. A cutscene begins when you approach the ramp. After it's over, jack into the lion statute behind Mr. Famous and the culprit.

Within the LionComp, there is a BMD at the bottom corner. Open it for a RegUp2. There are four devices on each corner, each containing viruses. Start from the left, and examine it for a battle against a Mett2EX, a SillyEX, and a GloomerEX. The top one against a BarkEX, and a VulGearEX. Right one against a MagTec+EX, a KilburEX, and a WallndEX. Lastly, the bottom one against a HellodyEX, a Spikey2EX, and a Shrmpy2EX. After some chatting, back to the tournament.

MegaMan vs. KendoMan. FIGHT! With KendoMan, try not to line up with him for more than a second. If you're in the same row as him, he'll do a dashing attack at you. Keep moving, and you'll be fine.
