Blacksmith
The weapon system is rather unqiue, with the character's sword or axe having to be upgraded at a blacksmith (found in a town or the castle) in order for it be effective. There are 16 levels of improvement for each weapon (except for certain characters), and with each character starting at a different level when they join (character imported from Suikoden II have higher weapon level then listed). Note that Blight, Fubar, Gadget Z, Ruby, and the dogs uses their claws to fight, so their weapon can't be upgraded.
Below are three seperate sections that list infomation on the weapon level, name, and price for each character. You can also enter this page if you click on their weapon name in the 108 Stars page.
While you can upgrade your weapon at any blacksmith found throughout the game, you will not reach the maximum level unless you recruit Peggi and give him new hammers for him to work with. Below is a list of each hammer you can find, the maximum weapon level it can reach, and the location.
